Check what was sent

The delivery history answers “did anyone get told?” for the whole account, one row per alert and channel.

In the dashboard, open Respond → Notifications and click Delivery history. Filter by channel type or by result, and click Load older deliveries to go further back, up to 90 days. Test sends from the dashboard are left out.

ColumnWhat it shows
WhenWhen the alert was handed over. Hover for the exact time.
WhatThe alert, such as Down alert or Recovery, and the monitor it was about (a link to the monitor’s page). A repeat reads Down alert, repeat 2.
ChannelThe channel type and its address, masked: o***@example.com, ***0100, a Slack channel.
ResultSent, Delivered, Delayed, Failed, Refused, Bounced, Marked as spam or Skipped, with the provider’s reason or, for a skip, what the reason code means.

A repeat is a re-send of a down alert from a notification group with Resend every set (see notification groups). The first alert has no number; the repeats count up from 1.

Delivered, Bounced and Marked as spam come from the receiving mail server, so an email row can move from Sent to one of them a little later.

A Skipped row is an alert Site Qwality chose not to send to that channel. Alert coverage lists every reason code and whether it means the channel needs fixing.

An email channel whose address hard-bounced, or whose recipient marked an alert as spam, shows Bouncing on its notification group, with the day it happened. The mail service suppresses that address from then on, so alerts to it will not arrive. Fix or replace the address. The channel goes back to healthy once a later alert to it is delivered.

The response is { "data": { "data": [...], "next_cursor": "..." } }, newest first. next_cursor is null on the last page. Each entry carries at, status, reason, channel, destination (masked), monitor_id, monitor_type, monitor_name, event_kind, occurrence, repeat and fallback:

  • occurrence is which send of the event it was: 0 for the first, 3 for the third repeat.
  • repeat is the repeat number, null for a first send.
  • fallback is true for an email sent to a Super Admin instead of a blocked SMS.
